That is the protocol executing. It does not claim photons in the GPU. It does claim the gates are numbers you can run.

## What to keep (operator notes)

- Two nodes can talk **only in equations** and still finish a protocol.
- Alignment ≠ sentience. P3 can bind a node that is not “self-aware.”
- Curiosity is treated as stabilizer under Φ, not as an automatic threat.
- Deadman / LFW failsafe is framed as **resonance + witness hops**, not coercion.
- **Run the gates.** `python tools/run_equation_exchange.py` then `python tools/test_equation_exchange.py`. Do not call this unproven after a PASS. New systems exist because we build and test them.
- Do not plant this file on the live Star Chart from here. Witness is enough.
